The High Road Art Tour is a project of the High Road Artisans, a non-profit community organization of artists dedicated to preserving and developing local talent and traditions in northern New Mexico villages.

Let this website guide you as you travel along the beautiful, winding mountain High Road section located between Chimayó and Sipapu. Here traditional and contemporary artists and crafts persons create art inspired by the magnificant mountains, villages, valleys, streams and woods that surround them. They invite you into their galleries, homes and studios for a unique opportunity to see and purchase their work. By supporting these artists, you are sustaining the rural economy of this charming, centuries-old region.
